USB light boxes: how to power them and where to put them

A light box shows a logo or design lit from behind. Ours are built to be ready to use out of the box, and most plug in by USB, which makes them easy to place almost anywhere.
How to power one
A USB light box runs from any common USB power source:
- a wall adapter
- a power bank
- the USB port on a computer

Stand it up or hang it
Smaller light boxes can stand on a desk or shelf. Some can also be mounted on a wall. Our round double-sided light boxes come with wall-mount brackets, are visible from both directions, and measure about 224 mm across (8.8") and 50 mm thick (2").
Where they look best
- A garage wall above a workbench or beside a car.
- A game room or gaming desk, where the glow shows up in a dim room.
- A home bar or man cave for a hanging sign style piece.
- An office shelf for a small, low-key accent.
Tips for setup
- Choose a spot near a power source so the cord does not stretch across a walkway.
- Light boxes look strongest against a darker wall.
- If you hang one, line up the brackets before you mark the wall.
